The New Direction Of Make Money Online In 2015

It’s almost 3 years back on this day (1st April 2012) I joined Make Money Online (MMO) Journey. Till now, after many failures and success, I realize that I need to choose and focus on one direction.

So, 2015 has come, all we need to do now, is to establish one specific plan and further direction for 2015. In this article, I will be sharing my online history as same as my failures with the success and how I plan for this year.

Deep inside my mind, I really want to share with you a topic that I want to talk about, but I did not have time to write, it’s about the career-oriented of those who enthusiasts on making the website and earn money.

I’m not an expert or superior knowledge in the field of website making and marketing, but I believe that I can answer several questions, such as “What do I have to learn to join MMO”, or “Where To Start?”. If you are newbie or the one who is still seeking for the correct direction in 2015, keep reading.

The History – How Did I Start MMO?

2011. This year, I heard about website making, but I did not care much about it, I spent most of time for learning about softwares, web apps, hacking, creating Linux servers, and playing counter strike.

2012. When accidently know about make money online, I asked a friend to buy for me one domain vnluck.com and I started writing about Linux/Unix. Although my Linux experiences are good enough but I was lazy to write and not be inspired to share, so my blog can survive only in a short time.

2013. In my opinion, I can say that this is the year of auto website. Although Google has penalised most of auto website now, but in 2013 and early 2014, it is an unforgettable time. I and my brother focused on creating a lot of auto website to sell Amazon products, and of course, we earned little much at that time.

2014. It was quite a year for my online career and it was a special year for me, because I spent most of a time for my family for having a newborn baby.

In early 2014, all of auto website was penalised by Google and I could not earn money from those sites anymore, so I started thinking that I need to build a website more seriously. That’s why I worked with my brother Hung to focus on two sites:

Despite these two websites earned quite well, but I’m still not satisfied.

2015. Of course, I’ll never change one part of the plan of my working for several years as it is affiliate marketing. Everyone has a different way to make money, such as PTC, PPD, Teespring, offers, etc, but I will always go for affiliate networks because they are giving me the passive income. I still have income even I’m not working or busy.

Here is proof, I focused on the Amazon and ClickBank in early 2014, but since I have baby, I was busy for my family, but sometimes I still have income from these articles, videos, though not much, but it is a passive income.

But what are my new plans? By pointing out my mistakes from past years, I think I know exactly how to improve my online marketing.

What Do I Learn From Mistakes?

Choosing the Wrong Host and E-commerce Platforms: Try to test the speed of your page load, if you see the slow, change to another better hosting.
Poor Readability & Legibility: I have fixed this mistake by using the clean and clear theme for my website to improve the users’ reading experience.
No Business Plan and Marketing Strategy: I used to create content whenever I found the good topic, I did not make any plan and specific keywords, it is big mistake, because my blog will go nowhere. So I highly recommend you to research keywords on any topic or niche before you create contents, for example: my blog will have some keywords “Affiliate Marketing Tips“, “Make Money Online“, “How To Increase Traffic To Websites“, etc.
Not focus on one website: Focusing on too many websites will make you distracted, you will have trash only, my advice is focusing on one website at time, then another after.
Creating not high-quality contents: Remember that Content is King, if you can not create good content by yourself, hire people from Odesk, or Elance. Do not create bad quality or duplicated content.
Not confident to create content: Not everyone is good at writing, so be yourself, write down from what you are thinking, from your heart, try to pretend that someone is sitting next to your while you are writing the content, do let them understand what your topic talks about.
Not focus on SEO: SEO Onpage and SEO Off page are very important, in 2015, I will focus on using Social Networks to Increase Traffic.
Not create community with a specific topic for the website
Not keyword researching
SEO On page is not perfect: Use some online tools to check your website SEO’s score.
No supporting from friends: Sometimes, your friends must be good at one that you are not good, so you need to have friends who will support you while making website.
Run for many other making money ways: Focus on one website only, or you will have a lot of bad stuff.
Bad Navigation: Tips to fix – Make navigation smooth by using textual descriptions for all links.
Overuse of technology
Long sentences: People are easily distracted, so try to use the short sentences.
Forgetting to ask the visitor to do something: This is Call To Action in marketing, take advantage of it to interact with readers to increase more traffic.

The most important things I have learned:

Focus on Quality, do not focus on Quantity: Do you know this is the most important thing I want to remind you. If you already have experiences on building website, you do know how important the useful and high-quality contents are.
Create community – lets people know about your website: The next thing to share what you are talking about, if you just do nothing after creating a high quality contents, your blog will be no changed much till end of year, even you still get some traffic, but to make the real success, it’s time to think again.

Things that I learned over the time

In the past 4 years, I have learned a lot of things from many of failures, broken beliefs, even success and I do know life is not simple. I realize that life will never be a constant joy ride. I do know that there will be bad days and there will be good days also, the important thing is how you deal with them. Here are few things I could share from my 30 years of experience:

Everyone needs goals in life to help them keep moving forward.
Your life is creating by yourself, you are the one who control or manage your life. So dream big, act big and make it big.
Be the person you really are, do not try to be other than yourself.
Do not blame yourself of any problems you meet, try to solve them as much as possible.
The happening in your life right now is from your action in the past, the success in the future is your action now.
The confidence is the main key of success. Be confidence on anything you want to do.
Try to live a better life with the balance between present and the future.
Avoid sharing your problems to other instead of trying to handle them by yourself.
Do no expect anything in return while you are giving or sharing to people.
Success is an endless journey, you do not need to stop if you are already on the track.
Should have team work and hire people: Do not work alone, if you have teamwork, your working is much better because you will complete task sooner and you can create better contents.
I worked very hard, I tried to write as many as possible, but remember smart work is better than hard work.
Most important: Your blog is your face, is you. So if you write down or share anything, write it from your heart, this way, you will earn million hearts.

What Are My Plans In 2015?

Because I have team work so I still focus on those 2 sites and developing this website BB2U.NET, and I will:

1. Authority site – Hard work, Long-term

In 2014, I started with two authority sites, and currently, those two websites still got sales but not as much as I hope, so I will try to push the promoting them in 2015. Growing the blog – Perhaps this is the new challenge of this year.

Fix the SEO On Page Issues: H1, H2, H3, CSS, Internal Links, etc.
Spread SEO OFF Page: Using Social Networks to Drive Traffic to website.

2. Niche Site + Adsense

Actually, this is not a new plan, because I already have a niche website. In 2015, while focusing on improving my BB2U.NET, I will take some time to develop this site too.

In 2014, I have not succeeded with Niche Website, so in this year, I want to get income at least $200/month from Google Adsense on this site.

3. Travelling

Of course, everyone will be very busy if they have a newborn baby, yes I do. But in this year 2015, my little boy has grown up, so I plan to have some travel, hope I can make it.
